|
A beautiful example of a classic, single-stemmed, extremely straight specimen.
Located in a small remnant of regenerating coastal podocarp bush on a farm, the site sits at a relatively high altitude and is extremely exposed to strong winds. The forest has been fenced off within the past 20 years. Nearby, several large kōwhai, mataī, and kahikatea trees can also be found (Evans, B., 2025). |
