General Notes:
A lone survivor of the forests that once blanketed the Richmond Foothills, this kahikatea stands beside the streambed in the upper reaches of Borck Creek. Several other remnant kahikatea can be found in the various gullies above the township, but this is the largest recorded so far. (Cadwallader, B.G., 2025).
