A tall planted kauri beside the Huatoki walkway, Frankleigh Domain in new Plymouth. Unusually tall for a planted specimen this tree sits beside the New Plymouth NZMCA Park amongst some towering pukatea and tawa. the nearby Huatoki domain has impressive mature broadleaf species including tawa, rewarewa, pukatea and puriri up to 30 m in height (Barker, K. P., 2023).
