A spectacular row of Mediterranean cypress 'Swane's Golden'. The cultivar was originally discovered in the Swane Brothers' Nursery, NSW, Australia, being subsequently named in 1944 and introduced to the nursery trade in 1956.
They are now a very common sight throughout NZ but to see 140 trees in a row is rare (Cadwallader, B.G, 2022). |
