General Notes:
|
The largest totara in the Morice Scenic Reserve, perhaps one of the largest close to Christchurch, and well worth a visit. This is not easy to get to but it's worth the attempt. It's surrounded by some splendid matai and at least one reasonably large kahikatea. This tree was visited and measured by Euan Mason, John Hoskin, and Paul Baakman (Mason, E. G., 2022).
