Frimley Park is all that remains of the original 3000-acre station that used to be owned by James Nelson Williams, one of the first settlers to the region. Mr Williams purchased the land in 1870 and planted many of the trees that make the tree framework within the park. This trident maple could be one such specimen (Hill, R.N., 2021).
