Small stand of remnant Kahikatea, where this tree represents the largest within the stand. Lord Bledisloe was shown this tree during a visit, where on subsequent visits he would ask to see “his tree”. This has led to the tree being affectionately referred to as “My Tree” (David Donald 2019).
