A fine old tree located in a generous reserve at the end of Devon Street. A short distance away, at Broadgreen House, the largest Turkey oak in NZ was recorded by Burstall in 1966. This tree blew down in 1975 and was very similar in size to this tree now (Ht: 20m, Spread: 30.5m DBH: 160cm) Cadwallader, BG. Jan 2010.
